SIEMATIC WINS AWARD FOR EXCELLENT PRODUCT DESIGN

The art of omission, elegantly framed. The SieMatic Pure Collection’s frame design received one of the most coveted international design awards: The German Design Award in 2019 for Excellent Product Design in the Kitchen category. The German Design Council, who granted SieMatic with the award, stated “The interplay of lines and surfaces, together with perfectly balanced proportions, creates a sculptural kitchen decor of unique beauty and timeless elegance.”

The design was developed in collaboration with the Berlin-based architecture and design studio, KINZO. The continuous, delicate 2cm frame design gives the minimalist, purist concept a striking contour and unique character. From cabinet ensembles to wall racks, the kitchen is similar to a sculpture, integrating itself into the architecture like a painting.
